For nearly twenty years I have worked with human transformation. My roots are in trauma work and emotional catharsis: holding grief, rage, shame and the places that hurt. Over time, my work evolved. I realised we don't only heal by revisiting pain. Sometimes we heal through pleasure — by experiencing what was missing. Safe touch. Tenderness. Freedom. Being deeply received and feeling fully alive in our bodies.
My own journey is woven through this work. Childhood abuse taught me to disconnect from parts of myself, while patriarchal culture added its own shame and taboo around the body, pleasure and sexuality. Tantra and shamanic practice became part of my reclamation, of sensuality, power and innocence. Not innocence as naivety, but the freedom to inhabit my body without shame and experience sexuality as sacred. Even taboo comes from the Polynesian tapu — sacred, set apart, restricted. I am fascinated by that place where what we have been taught to suppress meets what may actually be sacred.
My practice brings together a BSc in Neuropsychology, an MSc in Consciousness, Spirituality & Transpersonal Psychology, doctoral research in Applied Transpersonal Psychology, and years of training and practice across bodywork, neo-tantra, yoga, breathwork, conscious relating, energy healing and shamanic arts.
Motherhood has deepened it all. It has taught me to hold with tenderness and fierceness — to meet vulnerability with warmth while seeing the strength underneath it.
