One year ago, Soulships was born from a personal longing for something more. I noticed that while I was meeting wonderful people and sharing profound experiences at spiritual events, those connections rarely crossed the threshold into my everyday life. I wanted more genuine friendships, wider community and I was looking for a long term relationship with a conscious partner. I felt a sense that what I needed others may want too.
I wanted to create something that went beyond dating apps and fleeting encounters. An intentional space where we could share the awkwardness, vulnerability and excitement of making new friends and romantic connections together. Somewhere we could arrive as ourselves, with our stories, our hopes and our longing to be seen, known and loved.
And importantly, somewhere we could explore connection without pressure or expectation. A space to discover who we resonate with, follow our curiosity and begin the beautiful process of discerning whether a connection might grow into something lasting. So I launched Soulships in November 2025 with a prayer to meet someone to share that winter with.
Throughout the last years many Soulships gatherings, so much beauty has unfolded. Friendships have grown, people have found walking partners, coffee companions, collaborators and genuine community has taken shape. And... romantic relationships have blossomed too, including my own ❤️
After six years as a single mother, devoted to raising my son, deepening my spiritual practice and growing my work and myself, I felt ready to welcome a loving partnership into my life.
Soulships was born partly from that longing, but I hadn't anticipated how much the journey would teach me. Through dating, I became more discerning, more confident in expressing my desires and more willing to honour my needs. Despite years of working with conscious intimacy and tantra, I discovered that letting someone beneath your skin and into your heart asks something different of us. Each encounter became another layer of self-discovery, helping me open to love without losing myself.
And then, in July, Tom came to Soulships, we matched and something beautiful began to blossom. Now, as autumn turns towards winter, we're lovingly co-creating a conscious, committed partnership, learning to embrace and be seen by one another more fully.
I've also developed a wonderful friendship with Margaret who has become a close friend, bringing more laughter, companionship and connection into my everyday life.
And this is why, for so many of us, Soulships feels like an answered prayer.
My story is just one of many that have emerged through Soulships. Your story could be similiar. But not everyone comes for a romatic relationship, some come for friendships, some come for new playmates, new creative connections or simply to spend an evening among warm, open-hearted people.
It all starts with the meeting of souls; that's why its called soulships.
This November is soulships 1st birthday and I am thrilled to bits to invite those of you who have been before and those who have not made it yet, to this special celebratory soulships with an extended time. So, come and join the celebration, come for the friendships, the romances, to feel the collective courage, laughter, vulnerability and become part of the mycelium of connection that has grown over our first year.
In honour of those who have come before and matched, I am offereing a combined ticket price for two people to come together.
Perhaps you will come with your date who you met at soulships or perhaps you will bring a friend or rleative to enjoy the night with you.
If you come alone I hope you meet some new people who will walk with you into winter.
Soulships is a carefully held journey through movement, meaningful conversation, embodied connection and conscious choice. Every part of the evening is an invitation, and you're always free to participate in your own way.
At Soulships, connection is an invitation, never an expectation. Come as you are, follow your curiosity and discover what might blossom.
