In the deep past at the Spring Equinox, our ancestors gathered on the land to mark balance, fertility, and renewal. These gatherings were not about healing in isolation, but about being together, witnessing one another, and praying for the wellbeing of the people and the Earth.
Yet, in modern times shaped by the curse of modernity, many of us are relearning how to be in community. There are deep wounds between genders, within our communities, and within ourselves. At the same time, the longing for connection, belonging, and shared prayer has never been stronger.
This day retreat is an offering to tend both: the ache that needs mending and the equally human need to gather and belong.
This mixed-gender ritual brings the men’s and women’s lodges into dialogue, weaving them into a shared field of community mending. We meet as brothers and sisters, held with care, sensitivity, and discernment. The day is grounded in an understanding of our mammalian needs for safety, regulation, witnessing, and relational repair, while also inviting a wider awakening to our shared responsibility for the Earth and one another.
This retreat offers you a place in the circle and a role within the wider human family. It is a space to feel belonging in your body, to restore balance within yourself, between the lodges, and in relationship with the living Earth.
The intention of the day is simple and deliberate: to reweave what has been torn apart, gently, relationally, recprocally and in community.
