We are living in a culture starved of connection. Not just social contact, but the kind of embodied, mammalian connection our nervous systems are wired for.
Many of us have found our way into the spiritual scene, rich with offerings to help us transform, regulate and express. When we are in these workshop spaces, part of our longing for connection is fed. Yet, many of us go home sensing true community is still lacking in our real lives.
Soulships was born from the longing to change that.
Soulships is a different kind of spiritual event, because everyone who comes holds the intention to make real life relationships in their everyday lives. At soulships we gather in community for the night to enjoy and fulfil the spiritual and mammalian need for connection then we end by making invitations to people we resonated with to meet again outside of the workshop.
What happens at Soulships?
The structure is clear, gentle, and choice-led:
• Opening circle
You’ll be invited to introduce yourself, share what you’re looking for and what you’re offering. Then we cycle through:
• Gentle Exploration
Simple guided practices to help you sense who you feel drawn to in the group, without rushing or forcing chemistry. Some practices will be dance based, some energetic and due to feedback from the last Soulships we will also explore some platonic guided touch practices towards the second half or the evening.
• Mini Connection Sessions
Like a mini date, you have a series of short, guided connection meetings with those you resonate with in each round. These dialogues are supported by a question menu to help you get to know if the other is a match for you. Once the rounds are over we enter into the final phase.
• Making Invitations
This is your chance to make anonymous invitations to the people you liked the most, to connect with you outside the workshop space, as friends, or as potential romantic connections.
You may receive invitations too, and it is always your choice whether to accept.
If two people invite each other, then they will be notified of the "match".
There is no pressure. No public rejection. No expectation that every invitation is answered.
You can expect to:
Romance is not the goal, but it is welcome where there is mutual resonance and consent. Many people come simply seeking friendship, warmth, and meaningful human connection and that is what we achieved for everyone last time. Matches were made. People stayed in touch. Friendships formed. New explorations happened in the every day life.
Everyone spoke of the depth, safety, and genuine connection they experienced.
Maybe you’ll meet someone to walk alongside this next season.
Maybe you’ll form a friendship that roots into real life.
Either way, this evening is offered as a nourishing gift to our shared ecosystem.
Important Information
Once the opening circle begins at the beginning of the event, the doors wil be locked, so please make sure to arrive early to keep the container safe and to make sure there is no disappointment for you.
